summer is pretty much here.
i am sosososo excited!
i just really love summer.
like, a lot.
so, greet the glorious sunshine, haley and i broke out {just kidding, they're always out} our beloved cameras, dusted off our lovely cranbrook cruisers, and headed to a neighborhood field during prime sunflare hours.
i just really love sunflares.
like, a really whole lot.
knowing us, you'd best believe we took a whole boatload of pictures.
'cause we did :)
here's just some of them. {i'll spare you from having to scroll through all 250 of them. we took them all in under 35 minutes, mind you. pretty sure that's a personal record:) }

okay, so i wouldn't necesarily use the word 'hate' for the situation, but this applies nicely to the way some people {okay, one} are acting in my life. it breaks my heart!
you know what?
i hate drama.
i hate it when people hate people.
it's not cool. for reals.
i feel like i have picked some fantastic friends. believe me, i am quite selective.
and we rarely come to disagreements. actually, we never do/have.
how about you simply talk about it instead of secretly doing things to hurt? that's a good plan.
but sometimes, we have to do what we know is best, out of pure love.
and if others can't see that right at the moment,
whatevs.
i hate to be a downer on my happy little corner of these here internets, but i had to share that great little blog post.
because whatever we do, we should do it with love and christ-like compassion.
anywhoo, i'm still workin' on my little design-situation.

city creek's where it's at!

my amazing-bestest-friend-ever haley {check 'er out here} invited me to go to city creek with her aunt, cousins, and sisters for her 15th birthday! let me tell you, i haven't laughed so hard in a long time. we slept over at a hotel and then woke up early {9 is dang early for us teens:) } to head on over to the new city creek. it was glorious and sparkly and schtuff. serious. we lusted over jewels at tiffany's {oohhh! lookey- shiny stuff! }, tried our best to not break 3,000$ shoes at nordstrom's, and fangirled at forever 21. i would buy every. single. thing. in that store, if i could.

it was a blast.

i love friends.

i love singing at the top of my lungs. harmonizing, no less {i've mentioned that before. but, it's even better with a car full of silly girls:) }

i love shopping.

i love birthdays.

i love european style hotels.

i love late- night juice runs {don't ask:) }

getting to know you, getting to know aaallll about yooou...

since we're just getting acquainted around here, i thought i'd tell you a bit more about me.
- i love music. i feel like i have really created my own music style, and my "favorite's" list grows daily. i lovelovelove regina spektor, florence + the machine, the beatles {all of which i have talked about already:) }, mindy gledhill, feist, sara bareillis, adele {the early years}, the submarines, the civil wars... the list just goes on and on. i love to scream happy songs at the top of my lungs, and imagine that i am in a depressing movie when i hear sad songs {admit it, we all do it:) }. oh, and something else. i avoid the radio at all costs. i hate it how they play really fantastic songs over, and over, and over... so then their fantastic-ness level goes down a couple bars. but whatev's. that's just moi.
- i adore pinterest. there's just so much inspiration and creativity goin' on over 'de-uh. i am pretty pro at pinning, also. i can pin about 5 quality pins every 45 seconds. now that's skill. :)
- i am somewhat OCD about things. i obsess over what's going to happen, what career i want to pursue, what i'm going to wear tomorrow, yadayadaya. i feel like i really live in the moment and am "go-with-the-flow, however. it's a weird balance, for sure.
- i love anything vintage/ eclectic. i just do. therefore, one of my favorite stores is DI. oh, the gems you find there:)

-the only time i really use capital letters is school. i just really don't like them for some reason :)
- it's been said, but i really love photography. i LOVE capturing precious moments. also, i have this fear that one day, i won't be able to remember little things like that. actually, it's not just a "fear". i know that it will happen. so i take pictures like a mad woman and hold on to them like a lifeline. oh, and i also keep a daily journal. it's kind of a challenge to myself, just to see if i can keep it up. but i adore looking back on things in the past and my feelings, even if they are silly:)
- i lovelovelove babies. and kids. and people in general. as i've broken out of my shell more in the past few years, i recognize just how much i love making friends and that it is much more fun to be yourself and outgoing then quiet and "watching from the outside".
- i have lots of pet peeves. but my worst one is when people don't use correct grammar {we're talkin' they're/ their/ there, ect.}. i'm tempted to salmon-slap {read: busybeelauren.blogspot.com} the worst offenders on facebook. :)
- i can really blab on forever, so i'm just going to stop here:)
